ABOUT
HANK!
Jenn!
The "Grow Out Sale“ is owned and operated by co owners Hank and Jenn Chapman. We are a husband and wife team who love a great bargain. We have created a community of consignors that seek to support families in the surrounding area through the resale of quality and gently used children’s items.
We strive to be fair in our pricing and business practices so that we may deliver the best possible resale items to the public. We are grandparents to two beautiful grandsons and have two sons and daughters in law that were active duty Army for many years, so we understand the challenges military families meet in raising their children. It is our goal to provide a venue for Army families and those who live in the surrounding north country community with a venue for resale and affordable shopping.
We pride ourselves in treating our consignors with integrity and consideration as we work for you, not for ourselves!
HOW IT WORKS
-
Items appropriate to sell are: Clothing, baby equipment, toys, children’s sports equipment, nursery items, cribs, bedding, changing tables, maternity clothing, shoes, coats, dress ups, books, outdoor riding toys, NO CAR SEATS PLEASE. We discourage the sale of VHS movies as they do not sell and take up space.
-
No resale of items that have been recalled.
-
All consignors are asked to work a 3 hour slot during the hours of the sale. If you are unable to do so, you will only retain 60% of your sales.
-
Assuming you as the consignor work a 3 hour volunteer shift, you will retain 70% of your sales.
-
Please only price items in denominations of 50 cents.
-
Place all toy parts in a zip loc bag that is clearly see through for display. Be sure the bag is taped or stapled shut.
-
Tag books by placing tag on outside back jacket of book using clear packing tape over top of the tag. Same for puzzles.
-
All loose items such as bibs, socks, infant shoes, onesies and the like should be sold in lots and placed in a zip lock bag.
-
The Spring and Summer Sale is for spring and summer clothing. The Fall and Winter Sale is for fall and winter clothing.
-
Please be sure to select donate - yes or no - on each tag.

Each consignor is consigning at their own risk. We take every steps we can think of to protect your items against theft, and we take the oversight of your consigned items very seriously. We can not be responsible for stolen or broken items.
-
"Grow Out Sale” reserves the right to pull any items we do not feel are fit for selling. They will be returned to you at the conclusion of the sale.
-
All left over items will be donated to a ministry of our choice, or identified families in our area that are in need. If you would like to recommend any one who is in need of help, please let us know. We are always happy to help.
-
Checks will be mailed to each consignor within 2 weeks of the sale.
